TUESDAY
– A group of more than 100 veterans, families, and citizens were in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc on Saturday. Local Chapter 731 of the Vietnam Veterans of America coordinated the placement of flags at the gravestones of every veteran interred there, which numbers about 2,700 dating all the way back to the Civil War.

– The City of Sheboygan is reminding jet skiers about a city ordinance regarding the launching of the personal watercrafts. According to a news release, Jet skis cannot be launched on the beachfront, but rather must be launched at an approved city boat launch area.

– The new Treehouse Theater space near downtown Manitowoc is nearly complete, and a select group of people were invited in to see the beautifully removed building, located at 902 Washington Street. – Two more people who have helped shape Manitowoc have announced their retirement. Deputy Fire Chief Karl Koch clocked out for the final time after 28 years on the job on Friday, while Don Cisler announced that he will end his 25 year career at the West of the Lake Gardens on July
