Bail has been set for a Reedsville man who allegedly waved a gun in a child’s face and fled from police.
32-year-old Jordan M. Gursky was given a $10,000 cash bail yesterday (October 12th) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on charges of Battery, False Imprisonment, Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Being a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm after an incident that took place in Manitowoc this past weekend.
Gursky is accused of getting into an altercation at a bar before making his way to a residence in the city.
He is accused of locating a firearm and waving it in the face of those with him, including a child, before physically assaulting one of them by hitting them in the face repeatedly.
Once the 32-year-old learned police were on their way, he fled the scene with the firearm but was eventually tracked down to a Southside Manitowoc home where he was taken into custody.
Additional terms of his bail include maintaining absolute sobriety and a strict no-contact order with the victim and witnesses.
He returns to court on October 19th for an initial appearance.
