Yesterday was a big day in the Manitowoc County Courthouse for the Timothy Hauschultz trial.
He is facing charges of Neglecting a Child, Consequence is Death, and Intentionally Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child Resulting in Death related to the 2018 death of his great-nephew, 7-year-old Ethan Hauschultz.
Retired Manitowoc County Detective Michael Herrmann, who was the Evidence Manager for the case, was presented with numerous clothing items as well as the logs that Ethan was allegedly forced to carry around the yard.
Then, Damian Hauschultz was called to the stand, and he recalled the day Ethan died.

Day four of the trial will take place today, with Laura Zimbler of the Manitowoc Human Services Department set to testify.
