For the fifth straight week, Eastern Wisconsin motorists are feeling the pain at the pump.
The average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel rose 13 cents in Manitowoc County since this time last week to $4.11, as reported by the AAA Gas Prices website.
This is the highest local gas prices have been since the first week of June, when prices were on the decline.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County is the least affected this week, with an eight-cent-per-gallon jump leaving the average at $4.05.
Conversely, Calumet and Brown Counties were the hardest hit, with 25- and 27-cent jumps to $4.21 and $4.17 averages, respectively.
Elsewhere, Outagamie County is seeing a 15-cent increase to $4.04, Kewaunee County’s average is up 17 cents to $4.17, and Door County motorists are paying 21 cents more per gallon with an average of $4.17.
The state average is also up significantly, with the $4.10 average being 13 cents higher than last week.
The national average is up 14 cents to $4.36 per gallon.
