After a week of significant declines, Eastern Wisconsin gas prices are back up near the $4.00 mark.
Since this time last week, Manitowoc County gas prices have jumped 17 cents to an average of $3.98 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
This is the highest Manitowoc County’s fuel prices have been since the first week of August, according to statistics from the AAA Gas Prices website.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County motorists are feeling the recent surge the hardest after a 27-cent bump to $.3.97.
Calumet County saw a jump of 14 cents to $3.96, Outagamie County saw the least change after an 11-cent increase to $3.89, and Brown County’s average rose 17 cents to $3.90.
Kewaunee County was also hit hard with a 20-cent-per-gallon jump to an even $4.00, while Door County’s jump of 12 cents leaves its average at $3.96.
The state average followed local trends with a jump of 17 cents per gallon to $3.97, while the statewide average is up a dime to $4.22.
