A new trial date has been set in a Sheboygan murder case.
19-year-old Onterio Girley will officially stand trial for the role he played in the fatal shooting of Joseph Torres from December 15th through the 18th.
This comes as Girley faces one count of Felony Murder-Armed Robbery related to the shooting, which took place in January earlier this year.
Girley was originally scheduled to stand trial in August.
However, hearings were delayed after the 19-year-old and his legal counsel withdrew their demand for a speedy trial just days before he was slated to appear at his final pre-trial conference.
Girley and Lawrence Buford have been charged in relation to the shooting that took the life of Torres, a teen from Sheboygan, and severely injured an unnamed 18-year-old Sheboygan woman.
With a new trial scheduled, Girley will next return to court on October 19th ahead of his final pre-trial conference on December 1st.
Meanwhile, Buford will next appear on September 21st for a status conference.
