19-year-old Lawrence S. Buford will be in front of Judge Natasha Torry today (July 13th) at 4:15 p.m. for a status conference.

Buford, a Milwaukee resident, is accused of fatally shooting Joseph Torres and severely injuring an unnamed 18-year-old Sheboygan woman on January 17th.
The 19-year-old’s alleged coconspirator, Onterio M. Girley, has also been charged in the fatal shooting and faces one count of Felony Murder.
Girley is heading to trial and will return to court on August 3rd for his final pretrial conference before his four-day trial begins on August 18th.
At this time, both individuals remain in custody on significant cash bails, with Girley’s set at $500,000 while Burford’s is $1 million.
