Illegal e-bike usage by minors continues to be an issue in Sheboygan.
Sheboygan Police say they responded to two separate crashes involving illegal e-bikes and e-motos on Sunday.
They didn’t say where the incidents occurred or the severity of any injuries.
This comes after an incident in early August in which a 14-year-old Sheboygan girl was operating an illegal e-bike on North 10th Street and failed to stop at a stop sign.
The teen and her passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries before she was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign.
Sheboygan Police say they are continuing to educate the community and enforce violations.
That includes adults who knowingly allow the unauthorized use of illegal e-bikes.
The department also made a chart of legal e-bikes allowed in the community, which can be found on the Sheboygan Police Department Facebook page.
