A local gaming and hobby store has had its official grand opening.
Roll For Loot Games hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber Manitowoc County on Tuesday that recognized the community they have been trying to build since opening.
The store was full of players enjoying games like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.
Owner Corey Card told the crowd that growing up in a small town in Michigan, he always wanted a place to play card games.
Now he and his partner Sarah have that, and they were very grateful.
Corey told the crowd, “Thank you guys so much for coming here today. Thank you so much for coming here every day you’ve come here. It’s been incredible. You have humbled us. Thank you so much. We are so grateful to be here.”
Since we last talked to the Cards, they’ve added a new premium space to their store. Anyone can rent the area for games or a space to have fun.

“It’s five dollars; it’s store credit,” she explained. “And you are able to spend that on a game if you like a game or anything else in the store. So, we have a lot of options.”
Roll For Loot Games is located just north of the Manitowoc Public Library.
