An Oklahoma woman who coerced a Northeast Wisconsin child into sex has been sentenced.
25-year-old Randi Cook of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was ordered to spend 10 years in federal prison followed by 5 years on supervised release after being convicted on a charge of Coercing or Enticing a Minor for Unlawful Sexual Activity.
Additional charges of Interstate Travel with Intent to Engage in a Sexual Act with a Minor and Production of Child Pornography were dismissed.
Cook reportedly began communicating with the victim in early November of 2025 and convinced the child, whose age was not given, to send sexually explicit images.
She also made the drive to the area to sexually abuse the child at both a hotel and a short-term rental.
