After its brief cancellation, an annual fishing tournament will be held in Sheboygan this weekend.
The 58th annual Sheboygan Coho Derby is officially on for this weekend, starting tomorrow (July 31st) and finishing up on Sunday (August 2nd).
Earlier this month, the Coho Derby was called off due to staffing and organizational issues.
However, local groups, such as Anglers Pub & Grill, stepped up to ensure the tournament went on as planned.
Anglers will now serve as the derby’s headquarters, offering food, live music, numerous raffle baskets each day, and, of course, some of the best fishing Wisconsin has to offer off the shores of Lake Michigan.
Those not taking part in the fishing are encouraged to stop by and join in the three days of fun during the yearly tradition in Sheboygan.
Meanwhile, for those looking to cast a line to win cash prizes, registration tickets are still available online by visiting cohoderby.com/tickets.
Additional information on the 58th annual Sheboygan Coho Derby can be found on the Anglers Pub & Grill Facebook page.
