A Manitowoc man recently sentenced in a drug case has been sentenced on another drug case.
42-year-old Donald J. Loucks was found guilty due to a no contest plea on a charge of Possession of an Amphetamine/Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, while an additional charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was dismissed but read into the record.
Judge Jerilyn Dietz withheld her sentencing and ordered Loucks to spend seven months in the County Jail under the Huber Law with 36 days credit for time served, followed by four years on probation.
The sentencing for this case was combined with a previous case, where Loucks was found to be in possession of a weapon during a traffic stop, where a woman swallowed a baggie of drugs.
This means Loucks is spending a total of seven months in the County Jail and four months on probation between the two cases.
As a part of his sentencing, Loucks was also ordered to maintain absolute sobriety.
