There is some positive news coming out of Kiel.
Our sources have confirmed that Cody Rautmann, the man who was left in a medically induced coma after being attacked outside of a bar, is not only awake, but he is out of the hospital.
Rautmann is now at his parents’ home, recovering from the injuries he sustained on May 22nd outside the Badger’s Den.
His family first confirmed that he was awake on June 6th, but the next day, he was transferred to a “brain injury hospital” following a setback.
The Kiel community is continuing to show support for the Rautmann family, as the Badger’s Den collects money from patrons, and a GoFundMe set up for them has raised nearly $9,000, as of this morning.
The assailant, Chad Suttner, was in court yesterday (June 11th), where his preliminary hearing was once again pushed back.
He is now due back in court for that hearing on June 24th at 11:30 a.m. in front of Judge Mark Rohrer.
