
Charges have been formally filed against a Mishicot man who was arrested in Two Rivers last week.
49-year-old Jeffery Nicol was given a $500 cash bail by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on Friday (June 5th).
This comes as Nicol has been charged with Possession of THC, Psilocybin Mushrooms, a Controlled Substance Near a Certain Place, along with one count of Carrying an Unauthorized Weapon.
The 49-year-old was stopped by an officer with the Two Rivers Police Department early Friday morning near 15th Street and Washington Street.
During that stop, K9 Dante was called in and alerted authorities to the presence of drugs.
Upon search of his vehicle, 21.75 grams of THC and 11.25 grams of psilocybin mushrooms were located, along with a set of brass knuckles.
Nicol will be back in court today at 1:30 p.m. to make his initial appearance in Branch 2.
