A Two Rivers man is facing charges for drug and weapons possession.
Two Rivers Police pulled over the 49-year-old suspect early this morning (June 5th) in the area of 15th and Washington Street.
Details on what caused the officer to call for a K9 unit were not immediately available, but Two Rivers Police K9 Dante searched around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of drugs.
Officers found 21.75 grams of THC and 11.25 grams of mushrooms in the suspect’s vehicle.
Officers also found a pair of brass knuckles, which are illegal to carry concealed.
The 49-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possession of THC, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
He has a long criminal history with numerous convictions for drug and drug paraphernalia possession.
