Plans are moving forward for the next home to be built by high school students in Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan Area School District has announced that Sheboygan North senior Madeline Gilson’s architectural design plan has been selected for the 2026–2027 student-built home.
The North senior’s design was created in the district’s Project Lead the Way Civil Engineering and Architecture class and selected by a panel of industry builders and educators.
Gilson’s design will mark the 29th home built by Sheboygan North and South students enrolled in Career & Technical Education classes.
The home will be located in the Stonebrook Crossing subdivision, as was this year’s student-built home.
Those looking to get a closer look at the home built by students this school year are invited to attend the open house, which is set for Monday (June 1st) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 2906 Stonebrook Drive in Sheboygan.
The sale of this home will help fund the construction of next year’s house designed by Gilson.
