A Manitowoc man facing charges in relation to a child sexual assault is set to return to court.
56-year-old Eric A. Lemberger will be in front of Judge Mark Rohrer today (October 20th) for a status conference as he faces felony charges of Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child and First-Degree Child Sex Assault, Sexual Contact or Intercourse with a Person under the Age of 13.
Lemberger is accused of sexually assaulting his step-granddaughter over the span of approximately two years, beginning in 2023 when the victim was just 7 years old.
When speaking to the police, the victim stated that on one occasion, the 56-year-old told her, “Don’t tell anybody about what I do to you on the sofa,” and then continued to sexually assault her while she pleaded for him to stop.
At this time, Lemberger is free on $25,000 cash bail, which he posted in July.
