The man charged following an attack at a Kiel bar that left one in a coma has been picked up on new charges in Calumet County.
55-year-old Chad Suttner has been charged with Aggravated Battery – Intending Great Bodily Harm and Disorderly Conduct after getting into an altercation with Cody Rautmann at the Badger’s Den on May 22nd.
Now, court records show that Suttner has been charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon in Calumet County related to an incident that is said to have occurred on May 5th.
While few details are available in the new case, the 55-year-old will make his initial appearance on October 26th.
Meanwhile, in Manitowoc County, Suttner has not returned to court in more than two months as his hearings continue to be pushed back.
Suttner is accused of assaulting Rautmann to the point that he fractured his skull and was placed in a medically induced coma.
In the time since, Rautmann has returned home and, in the latest update, was recovering with family.
In this case, Suttner is due back in court on November 3rd for a final status and scheduling conference.
