A Manitowoc woman with a lengthy history of drug activity in Wisconsin has entered her plea following her most recent local arrest.
55-year-old Laura Levendoski returned to court last week for a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Anthony Lambrecht as she faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, all of which carry repeater modifiers.
While in court, Levendoski waived her right to a preliminary hearing, instead turning her appearance into an arraignment where she entered not guilty pleas to both of the charges she faces.
Judge Lambrecht then had her bound over for trial.
While the circumstances that led to her arrest have yet to be shared, it is known that the 55-year-old was taken into custody by police in Two Rivers following an incident that took place on August 19th.
Levendoski’s previous record includes convictions across Manitowoc and Brown Counties for charges such as Possession of a Controlled Substance, Narcotic Drugs, and Methamphetamine, Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, and four OWIs, dating back to 2005.
She returns to court on October 9th for further proceedings.
