A Manitowoc woman with a lengthy criminal history is facing new drug charges.
55-year-old Laura L. Levendoski made her initial appearance in court yesterday (August 24th) after receiving a $500 cash bail last week.
This comes as Levendoski has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, all of which carry repeater modifiers.
Court records show that these charges stem from an incident that occurred in Two Rivers last Wednesday (August 19th), but few details regarding what happened have been made available.
The 55-year-old has been convicted of numerous crimes in both Manitowoc and Brown Counties, including charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Narcotic Drugs, and Methamphetamine, Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, and four OWIs, dating back to 2005.
As of this morning (August 25th) Levendoski remains in custody in the Manitowoc County Jail and will return to court on Thursday (August 27th) for a preliminary hearing.
