A Plymouth woman accused of stealing thousands from a Sheboygan County 4-H group is set to discuss a possible plea deal.
51-year-old Stacy Limberg will be present for a status conference today (August 5th) as she faces one count of Theft in a Business Setting Between $10,000 and $100,000.
Last time Limberg was in court back in June, it was revealed that her attorney had received case discovery, as well as an offer from the state, signaling that a plea deal may be on the horizon.
This comes as the 51-year-old has been accused of stealing just under $30,000 from the Sheboygan County Junior 4-H Dairy Project during her time serving as the group’s treasurer.
It is alleged that Limberg wrote and cashed eight fraudulent checks using the Sheboygan County Junior 4-H Dairy Project’s money for personal needs, including farm costs, machinery repairs, and medical bills.
Currently, Limberg is out of custody on a $7,500 signature bond signed back in March.
