The Sheboygan Area School District has named a new leader at one of its middle schools.
The District has announced that Steve Branson has been selected as the new Principal at Horace Mann Middle School.
Prior to transitioning into administration roles, Branson spent many years working as a special education teacher in both Wisconsin and Tennessee.
Reflecting on his time in that role, Branson noted, “Those classroom experiences shaped my belief that every student brings something unique and valuable to our school community.”
He also stated that, as Principal, his top priority will be to ensure that Horace Mann is a place where students and staff feel supported, included, and excited to come to school each day.
The new Horace Mann Principal added, “Middle school is such a fun, dynamic stage of life, and I’m truly looking forward to partnering with all of you to make this an outstanding year at HMMS.”
Branson takes over for Lindsay Ohlfs, who served as Principal for one year prior to being named Executive Director at Inspire Wisconsin.
