A change in leadership has been made at a statewide nonprofit with local ties.
Inspire Wisconsin has announced that Executive Director Candice Boutelle will depart the organization following a period of transition and growth.
Stepping into the role of Executive Director will be Lindsay Ohlfs, who previously served as the Principal for Horace Mann Middle School in Sheboygan.
Under Boutelle’s leadership, Inspire grew its local mission into a statewide model that benefits thousands of children across Wisconsin.
In addition, Inspire Wisconsin experienced steady organizational growth, and its financial position increased under the soon-to-be former Executive Director Boutelle.
Reflecting on her time with Inspire, she stated, “It has been an incredible privilege to lead this organization and work alongside so many passionate educators, employers, and community partners. I am deeply proud of what we’ve built together and excited to see Inspire continue to grow and evolve in the years ahead.”
While Ohlfs added, “I am honored and excited for the opportunity to serve Inspire and the Board as the new Executive Director…The support and encouragement I have already received from the organization and community partners has been truly inspiring.”
Inspire Wisconsin connects schools, employers, and communities to ensure students have access to meaningful career-based learning experiences.
