Charges have officially been filed against the man police believe stabbed a woman earlier this week.
29-year-old Justin Bacon is facing charges of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Armed Burglary for the incident on June 2nd.
The Green Bay Police Department says Bacon entered a residence in the 900 block of North Clay Street at 10:30 Tuesday morning and stabbed a 39-year-old woman.
She was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Bacon fled the scene on a mountain bike, causing a school in the area to enter a temporary “secure the building” state.
After around four hours of searching, Bacon was taken into custody in the area of Main and Abrams Streets.
No additional details are being released in this case at this time.
