More details have emerged regarding a man accused of sexually assaulting employees at various stores around Manitowoc.
37-year-old Ramon A. Parker was back in court yesterday (May 20th) for his second bail hearing in three days, where he was given an additional $250 cash bail by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
This comes as Parker has been charged with a second count of Fourth-Degree Sexual Assault, linking back to an incident which took place on Sunday (May 17th).
Parker was originally arrested after an employee at the Manitowoc Pick N Save claimed she was sexually assaulted by him.
However, during yesterday’s bail hearing, it was revealed that this second charge occurred at The Shoe Store just minutes prior to the one at Pick N Save, but was not reported to police until two days after it happened.
It was noted by Court Commissioner Scharenbroch that she considered his actions to be “compulsive behavior,” which Assistant District Attorney Angelina Scarpelli believes makes the 37-year-old a “danger to our community.”
As part of this bail, he was again given a strict no contact with the victim or The Shoe Store. He will be back in court on Tuesday (May 26th) for his initial appearance.
Until then, he remains in custody on a total of $5,250 cash bail across the two sexual assault cases.
