Court dates have been set for four Manitowoc County residents facing drug charges.
Court records show that 35-year-old Emily Kasten, 35-year-old Jonathan Oakley, 36-year-old Holley Melichar, and 43-year-old Justin Ford all made their initial appearance in court on Monday (May 4th).
Kasten and Oakley have been charged with Possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia, Keeping a Drug House, and Felony Bail Jumping.
Melichar and Ford are facing charges of Possession of Amphetamines and Felony Bail Jumping, while Ford also faces Possession of THC and Drug Paraphernalia and Keeping a Drug House charges as well.
Despite all four individuals appearing on Monday, only Oakley’s hearing went on as planned, however, Kasten, Melichar, and Ford had their initial appearances adjourned to allow time for public defenders to be assigned to them or for receipt of criminal complaints.
All four individuals were arrested in late April during and after a coordinated search warrant linked to drug activity in the City.
Oakley will be back in court today (May 7th) for his preliminary hearing at 3:00 p.m., while Kasten, Melichar, and Ford return on July 6th for their adjourned initial appearances.
