The Manitowoc Police Department Support Staff is helping ring in the “New Year” for the needy in our community by continuing to replenish Peter’s Pantry shelves after the holiday season. Local food pantries have food to give at Christmas time so no one will have to go without a Christmas meal, but what happens after the holidays?
Surplus after the holiday season drops off for our local pantries and the Manitowoc Police Department would like to make sure the citizens of Manitowoc have plenty of food to go around during the winter months of the New Year when things are scarce. Just think about the things your family eats every week as these families are just like yours.
So when you go to the grocery store the next time, please consider picking up ten of our “10 Most Wanted” Items for the month. The Manitowoc Police Department will be collecting a different theme of food during the months of January, February, March and April.
