A 21-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested on Monday (April 5th) after police witnessed him in a vehicle appearing to purchase drugs.
Officers saw the man and a female in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Linebacker Sports Bar on North 10th Street, and believed the two were engaging in a drug deal.
Officer approached the vehicle after learning the male had two misdemeanor warrants out for his arrest.
The man admitted to having drug paraphernalia in his pockets, and officers witnessed him attempting to hide heroin in the vehicle.
The man was subsequently arrested, and is facing charges of Possession of Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia.
