According to LT. Eric Voland of the Calumet County Sheriff’S Department, the male teen is a resident of New Holstein. His condition has been improved to “stable”.

A 16-year-old Calumet County resident was seriously injured late last week after they were struck by a vehicle while horseback riding.
Calumet County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the area of County Road HH near Meyer Road at around 1:30 PM on Friday (April 2nd).
The teen was reportedly riding eastbound on HH when they lost control of their animal, and it veered onto the roadway before being struck by the vehicle.
The teen was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah having suffered serious injuries, and at last word was in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash, nor was the horse, according to the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.
