State Representative John Jagler has won the Republican primary to replace Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald.
Jagler took more than 57-percent of the vote in Tuesday’s primary for the Senate District 13 seat.
The Associated Press determined he was the winner over Don Pridemore and Todd Menzel less than an hour after the polls closed.
Jagler moves on to the April 6th special election.
Fitzgerald left the seat after he was elected to the U-S House of Representatives from Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District.
