Last week, the State Legislature passed a couple of COVID-19 related bills. The first that passed the Assembly makes it illegal for a company to require a vaccine as a term of employment.
We spoke with Representative Paul Tittl about the bill, and he said it’s not about not trusting the vaccine.
“Myself, I am not anti-vaxing,” he told Seehafer News. “In fact, I got my first vaccine, and the second one is on April 16th. It’s about freedom, and that’s why I voted ‘Yes’ on that bill.”
The other bill that passed the assembly made it so the Department of Health Services cannot shut down a house of worship.
“I’ve seen a few people coming back to the church I go to…because they are fully vaccinated, it’s been a year, and they are feeling comfortable,” Tittl explained. “There will be many people who will stay away, listen to it on WOMT, or watch it on YouTube, but it’s a freedom issue.”
The Assembly had also passed a bill that makes forced vaccinations illegal as well, which is now on it’s way to the Senate. Tittl said he is unsure if the Governor will sign it, but did say that he should and that he could.
