The Green Bay Packers could finally be in line to play a game overseas as the N-F-L moves to a 17-game season schedule.
The league is pushing for a new system that would require all teams to sacrifice a home game and play at an international site.
Team owners will vote next week and if they give the idea the thumbs-up, it could start in 2022.
Under plans for the 17-game schedule, teams would have nine home games every other season.
That means the Packers could play in London one year and still have a slate of eight games at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay has resisted giving up a home game in the past.
The Packers are the only N-F-L team that hasn’t played a game in the United Kingdom.
