Wauwatosa Police Chief Barry Weber will have to testify at a May hearing – even though he didn’t want to.
Weber was subpoenaed.
The family of Jay Anderson is asking a judge to independently file criminal charges against former Wauwatosa officer Joseph Mensah.
Anderson was killed by Mensah in 2016. He has been cleared of criminal charges by prosecutors in three separate fatal shootings on the job.
Reports submitted by an attorney for the Anderson family show Wauwatosa police interfered nine times with the investigation after Milwaukee police took over the case.
