A suspect in an apparent overdose death in Wood County has made a court appearance.
Stephanie Trewyn is charged with hiding a corpse.
During a Wednesday hearing, the judge refused to reduce Trewyn’s bail, saying she is a flight risk.
Investigators say she, Zach Vasa, and Jacob Immerfall got together to use heroin.
Trewyn went to work and Immerfall says he woke up from a nap to find Vasa had died.
Immerfall is accused of putting the dead man’s body in Trewyn’s car, picking her up at work, and driving around until they found a place to hide the body.
