A former high school basketball standout from Wisconsin is leaving the West Virginia Mountaineer program.
Jordan McCabe of Kaukauna has entered the N-C-A-A transfer portal.
McCabe averaged 2.2 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists-a-game as a reserve this season.
The Mountaineers finished with a 19-and-10 record when they lost to Syracuse in the second round of the N-C-A-A Tournament.
McCabe was Wisconsin’s high school basketball player of the year in 2018 when he averaged 26.7 points and 7.8 rebounds-a-game, leading the Kaukauna Ghosts to a Division 2 state championship.
McCabe hasn’t indicated where he might end up.
