It wasn’t a good day for pitchers and 13 of them threw a pitch in Colorado’s 9-8 win over the Brewers.
Adrian Houser started and gave up seven earned runs in three-and-a-third innings.
The game had started out pretty good for Milwaukee when Kolten Wong led off with a homer. Big damage was done in the bottom of the fourth when Christian Yelich pounded a grand slam, then a few batters later Travis Shaw had a two-run homer.
That 7-3 lead wouldn’t last, as the Rockies exploded for five runs in the fourth and stayed on top the rest of the way.
The loss drops Milwaukee to a 12-and-10 record. They take on the San Francisco Giants in a night game starting at 9:05 p-m.
