
The Two Rivers Police Department has released information regarding the release of two convicted sex offenders.
68-year-old Mark J. Rickert and 71-year-old James J. Typner will both temporarily reside at the Lakeview Motel-2702 Memorial Drive in Two Rivers.
Rickert was convicted in Wisconsin of first-degree Sexual Assault, Second Degree Sexual Assault, and Sexual Intercourse with a Child-all involving the use of force.
Typner was convicted in Stafford Virginia of using electronic means for procuring minors for obscene purposes and attempted indecent liberties with a victim less than 15 years of age.
Rickert and Typner are required to follow rules established by the Department of Corrections-register with the Sex Offender Registration Program and comply with GPS Monitoring for life, while Typner is also on extended supervision until 2031.
Both men have served the sentences imposed on them by the courts and are not wanted by police at this time. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated by law enforcement.
