North Carolina is counting on owning the inside game in tonight’s (Friday’s) opening-round game in the N-C-A-A Basketball Tournament against the Wisocnsin Badgers.
Tip-off is at 6:10 p-m from Mackey Arena on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The Tar Heels have a size and quickness advantage over the Badgers and they are one of the best rebounding teams in the nation.
On the other hand, they struggle to defend the 3-pointer and the Badgers hit 36-percent from long range. North Carolina also turns the ball over a lot while only one team had a lower percentage of turnovers than U-W.
The matchups don’t seem to favor either team – both rolled over Louisville and both lost to Marquette.
