There’s no wrong choice here.
Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell will pick his 2021 Opening Day starter from two strong candidates: Brandon Woodruff on Corbin Burnes.
Woodruff started the first game last season and has emerged as a staff ace.
Burnes was a Cy Young candidate last season, finishing sixth with an earned run average of 2.11.
Counsell has plenty of time to make his choice, as Opening Day is still two-and-a-half weeks off.
Milwaukee dropped Sunday’s game against Seattle 5-4 and Brewers have a 7-and-6 record in Cactus League games so far.
