
The Oshkosh man who was convicted after stabbing a retired police captain has been sentenced.
29-year-old Ian Suzuki will spend the next 30 years in State Prison, followed by 10 years on extended supervision after he was found guilty for causing the death of 67-year-old Jay Puestohl in February of 2020.
Suzuki was found guilty of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide but was also charged with Battery, but that charge was dismissed.
Suzuki was also ordered to take all prescriptions as prescribed by a doctor, and follow all mental health treatment recommendations.
