One person’s loss is another’s gain.
While the closing of Shopko was a huge blow to many people, Country Visions Cooperative was able to take advantage of a bad situation, and are now preparing to move into the former Shopko building in Brillion.
The local farm supply co-op purchased the building last year, and now several of the Cooperative’s operations are consolidating into this single location which will bring added efficiencies to the Cooperative.
The Country Store in Reedsville and the product warehousing from Whitelaw moved to Brillion in late November. Starting today (March 8th) the corporate office staff will be in their new home office under the same roof as the Country Store and warehousing that are already in operation.
CEO Steve Zutz called the move “exciting… for Country Visions as we design our operation to meet the needs of our customer long into the future.”
