A total of over $1.4 million was raised this weekend during the 67th Annual CP Telethon held by WBAY in Green Bay.
The event began at 6:30 Pm on Saturday with Frank Hermans of Let Me Be Frank Productions as the MC.
There were roughly 365 volunteers who manned the phones throughout the telethon, including several representatives from Seehafer Broadcasting.
The money raised will go toward helping people with Cerebral Palsy pay for therapy, aquatic exercise, childcare, and a variety of other needs.
The telethon raised $30,000 shy of last year’s event, which was actually held just a few days before the state was shut down due to COVID-19.
