A Manitowoc man is facing several charges after he reportedly threatened to kill a police officer’s family.
A woman called the Manitowoc Police Department just after 11:00 PM on Thursday (March 4th) after she came home to find the man who was supposed to be watching her child passed out in the kitchen.
An officer arrived and woke the man up, who admitted to being intoxicated. Since the man two open felony cases which required him to remain sober, the officer placed the 24-year-old man under arrest.
When the officer began to guide him outside, the man cursed at the officer and attempted to break free. The officer brought the man to the ground, as he continued to resist.
He also continued to curse at the officer, and told him “I will kill you and your mom.”
The man was eventually placed in the squad car, and is facing charges of Threats to Law Enforcement, Resisting an Officer, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
