Highly-rated freshman guard Lorne Bowman Junior has dealt with the family matter that kept him out all season and is said to be back on the UW-Madison campus – at least, virtually.
Bowman has been taking virtual classes this semester, but a tweet from his father says the three-star prospect is working out every day and should be back on campus in June.
Bowman chose the Badgers program over Iowa, Nebraska, and several others.
He could be a key piece to coach Greg Gard’s rotation if senior guards D’Mitrik Trice, Trevor Anderson, and Brad Davison depart.
The Badgers complete regular-season play this weekend with a Sunday game at Iowa.
