Point guard Jrue Holiday had the shot and he took it – his baseline jumper giving the Milwaukee Bucks a 112-111 victory at Memphis Thursday night.
The teams had exchanged the lead five times in the final minute, but a Grizzlies 3-point shot at the buzzer hit the front of the rim.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Khris Middleton also had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Memphis guard Ja Morant had a big 28-point second half and he led all scorers with 35.
The Bucks are off for a week, playing at New York against the Knicks in their next game on March 11th, next Thursday.
