Beaver Dam police arrested a person who was found carrying a “hazardous device” in a backpack Saturday afternoon (February 27th).
Officers didn’t say what the device was.
They had been called shortly before 3:00 p-m about a person who was acting suspiciously.
The Hazardous Devices Unit from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office was called in to help and the device was destroyed safely.
The name of the person who was taken into custody and booked into the Dodge County Jail hasn’t been released.
