Cole Caufield had his second hat trick of the season and freshman goaltender Cameron Rowe notched his second shutout as the Wisconsin men’s hockey team blanked Ohio State 7-0 Saturday (February 27th).
That completed a weekend sweep of the Buckeyes.
Seniors Linus Weissbach, Ty Pelton-Byce, Tarek Baker, Jason Dhooghe, Josh Ess and Robbie Beydoun were honored.
Wisconsin took over first place in the Big Ten Conference standings with 46 points – one point ahead of Minnesota and will wrap up the regular season Friday and Saturday with a road trip to East Lansing and a pair of Big Ten games against Michigan State.
