The Mishicot Girls defeated Fall Creek 55-30 this morning and will meet Mineral Point tonight for the state championship on WIAA Division 4 at La Crosse.
Mineral Point rolled over Bangor by a score of 66-30, with field goal shooting being a big factor. Mineral Point shot 40% from the field to Bangor’s 20%. Mishicot was led by Desiree Kleiman with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Mineral Point was led by Watters with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
The two teams will meet for the gold ball tonight and the game will be carried live on WCUB, 97.1 FM with coverage beginning at 6:15 PM.
