Seventeen months after Keith Wolf was shot to death while looking for an intruder in his Poynette home, a 43-year-old West Allis man has been taken into custody.
Wolf’s wife told investigators they had heard a noise in their basement. Family members think he died while protecting her and his children September 27th, 2019.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says deputies recovered the handgun used in the shooting, along with other evidence, while executing a search warrant Thursday.
Jason Kijewski was taken into custody and booked into the Columbia County Jail.
Additional charges are expected to be filed.
