Wisconsin Badgers recruit Jake Ratzlaff has been named Mr. Football in Minnesota.
The outside linebacker from Rosemount was the Minneapolis Star-Tribune’s Player of the Year in 2020.
He’s rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports and committed to the Badgers over offers from Minnesota, Iowa, and Iowa State.
Ratzlaff originally committed to play hockey for the Golden Gophers, but he switched his attention to football when the N-H-L skipped him in its draft.
As a three-year starter, he compiled 10.5 sacks and 28.5 tackles for loss, making All-Star twice.
